Shipping Terms

InterTest, Inc. prefers these standard shippers: UPS, FedEx, and DHL and ships via Incoterms F.O.B. Origin and Ex-Works.  Other shippers can be arranged upon written approval. Shipment duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

 All shipments and deliveries will originate from InterTest, Inc. headquarters in Columbia, New Jersey, United States unless other arrangements have been made. It is the responsibility of each shipping carrier to deliver products safely. InterTest, Inc. cannot be held liable for the consequences of shipping carrier mistakes, negligence, damage, or poor service.

Shipping charges plus an additional handling fee will be prepaid as part of the total invoice cost, or InterTest, Inc. will use your desired shipper collect account number without the additional handling fee.

Same-day shipping (on available products) has a 3 pm EST deadline. Orders must be received before this deadline, or they will ship the next business day. Same-day shipping is limited to in-stock, F.O.B. inventory, warehoused at InterTest, Inc. headquarters.

Project/Product Deadlines and Delivery Dates

Project deadlines, payment dates, and product delivery dates will be negotiated in advance and confirmed in writing. InterTest, Inc. may choose to make partial deliveries when an order can be delivered early. If the purchaser is unable to honor their written payment commitments, InterTest, Inc. will be released from its obligation to deliver the order.

InterTest, Inc. cannot be held responsible for late shipments due to customer change requests, delays due to an excessively high production schedule, delays due to machine or equipment failure, or unforeseen maintenance issues. Unexpected manufacturing delays or equipment maintenance may also affect project production schedules and shipment dates. Customers assume the risk of product supply unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
