Weld Education

Weld Education prepares individuals for careers in technical jobs supporting the welding industry. Students studying this major acquire knowledge and skills that qualify them for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing jobs.

Weld Education

Students are typically trained in several welding methods, such as GMAW, FCAW and GTAW, on a variety of surfaces. The hardest aspect of teaching welding students is the ability to see how to manipulate a weld puddle. Demonstrations are critical but often the student will not be able to see the exact perspective that the individual who is performing it can see. Welding Camera Technology allows the instructor to strategically record the physical movement and use this for aiding students.

Intertest, Inc’s WeldWatch EDU is a complete turn-key system designed to aid Instructor Demonstrations of the Welding Process. The WeldWatch EDU is purposely designed with Welding Instructors in mind to make recording the Weld and documenting the Welding process as easy as possible.
